Being in front of a camera

Hey there,

I finally did it – I booked a portrait session from Tanja Kibogo to get to know the other side of the camera better :) And it was total fun, if awkward.

I met Tanja at the Bonner Wedding Meet-Up a while ago and we got along quite well. We decided to exchange portraits, so I will be photographing her and her husband next week.

On Wednesday this week we met at a local coffee shop, grapped a coffee, talked shop and had a lot of fun talking about everything and nothing. After a while we went for a little walk in the woods near Siegburg. The sun was shining wonderfully warm and made both of us smile. It felt really good to spend time outside in the warm sunlight and with someone who understood my love to photography. Thanks Tanja for the wonderful day and for the wonderful photos – I never expected to be able to look good in pictures.

I can totally recommend you to get your pictures taken, it’s nice to see the other side of the camera and to get to know the feeling better :)

My baby ♥

Oh, we both loved the light of the setting sun :) What a beautiful day!

Didn’t know I am looking so strange what looking through my camera :D

There was a wonderful view from this place :)

Oh, I love my orange handbag ♥ I can carry around my camera and the 50mm everywhere I go :)

I had a lot of fun with these wuzely-tufty things I don’t know the name of :D

Love, Kate
